Nürburgring Lap with Tommi Mäkinen: 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

Another video to back up an article in the latest issue of Road Magazine (http://issuu.com/roadonlinemagazine/docs/road_13_small), of Tommi Makinen testing a prototype version of the 2011 WRX STi on a cold, damp May morning at the Nordschleife. Cold tyres, plus a Ring maintenance truck on the track put a swift stop to lap one (funny!), but then rally hero Tommi gets on a classic "Mak attack" – with unconventional lines, but a composed and ballistic lap nevertheless.
