2012 Ford Focus voice-recognition technology
Nuance Communications are set to debut their "connected car voice technology" software in Europe in the 2012 Ford Focus, after successful trials in more than three millions Fords in North America since 2007 (with an 80% customer recommendation feedback record). The trick speech recognition technology provides drivers with more than 10,000 possible voice commands for one-shot navigation entry (with over 300,000 pre-programmed destinations), music, phone and climate controls... and much more besides. The Ford SYNC system is being developed in 19 different languages and will be capable of recognising a broad array of accents and vocabularies. See more at www.nuance.com
