Mitsubishi Motors plants unaffected by Tohoku disaster

Some good news out of earthquake and Tsunami-affected Japan – Mitsubishi today confirmed its three car manufacturing plants, at Aichi, Gifu and Okayama, are unaffected by the recent earthquake and tsunami natural disaster, which struck the north-east coast of Japan on Friday 11th March, claiming 1,000's of lives. Mitsubishi say they have at least four months supply of vehicles across the range, for the UK market. And we should all support them – not only to help get the country back on its feet financially after this terrible disaster, but because Mitsubishi's "Intelligent Motion" range is truly excellent. Further help can be provided by going to the live link to the Red Cross and Save the Children sites, via the Mitsubishi Motors UK consumer website at www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk and the Mitsubishi Motors media site at www.mitsubishipress.co.uk. Mitsubishi Motors UK have launched an appeal to help the 100,000 children affected by the disaster – join in.
