The world's most successful rally driver, seven-time WRC champion, Sebastian Loeb, has scored his first victory of 2011 – and the maiden win for his all-new DS3 WRC – on the gravel of Mexico. The win now puts Loeb in second place in the championship. Loeb had been in a close fight with team mate, Sebastian Ogier, with just 10.5s between them, until Ogier retired after a minor off on the final day. Loeb said: "Seeing Sebastian at the side of the road didn't give me much pleasure. We could have fought 'til the very end and it's a pity it finished like that. We went back into the lead of the rally with more than 1m30s in had over Mikko (Hirvonnen). We just nursed it home. The season's really begun for us here. We've just had a very trick rally." Loeb is back!
