Toyota engine to power BTCC Dynojet Avensis

This year's Dynojet Avensis BTCC car will be powered by a modified 2.0-litre turbocharged version of the road-going Toyota. The engine is currently in development in Northamptonshire at engineering consultancy, X CTech R and is aiming to be one of the most powerful, lightest units in the Dunlop MSA BTCC, offering 300+bhp (road version is 140bhp).
