Fastest Jaguar XKR-S special for 50th E-Type Anniversary

Geneva Motor Show will see Jaguar unveil and launch a special edition XKR-S, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their iconic E-Type. It will be Jaguar's most powerful and fastest series production car ever, with a re-developed and uprated supercharged V8 engine, offering a massive 550PS and 680Nm torque – delivering 0-60mph in just 4.2s, 0-100mph in a staggering 8.6s and 186mph top speed. An uprated Adaptive Dynamics System has been developed to "allow the enthusiastic driver to explore the edges of the handling envelope." Ian Callum, Jaguar Design Director said: "It is impossible to overstate the impact the E-Type had. Here was a car that encapsulated the spirit of the revolutionary era it came to symbolise. We’re looking forward to celebrating achievement and looking forward with our all-new sports cars in Geneva.” It looks and sounds tremendous, no?
