Mitsubishi sales soar

Mitsubishi Motors are flying out of the showroom, bucking the national trend for a percentage downturn in car sales. Sales are up 82% overall in May compared to 2010 figures, with Mitsubishi dealers shifting 888 cars in May – with the brilliant Shogun rising 34% over the same period last year and the legendary Lancer increasing a huge 94%. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi’s “Intelligent Motion” environmental range, including the ASX and Outlander (pictured) crossover vehicles, are also out-selling expectations even more – with a 195% hike on the same time last year! Mitsubishi Motors in the UK’s Managing Director, Lance Bradley said: “This was a very strong month for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK and is another piece of good news for us and our dealer network. We have more new low-emissions products coming soon and a very stable and profitable dealer network, so all the signs are good for a continued successful future.” Frankly, having tested a load of Mitsubishis recently – Colt Ralliart and Juro, Shogun, Outlander, ASX and Evo X – we aren't surprised. The new "Intelligent Motion" Mitsubishis are fun, practical, affordable, economical and generously specced. See road tests in www.roadmagazine.co.uk very soon and find out more on the cars at www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk
