Porsche 911 Black Edition
Porsche has created the 911 Black Edition, in limited numbers of just 1,911 models. It will cost £67,270 for the coupe and a thumping £74,958 for the cabriolet (although these are the same prices as the stock Carrera), and it goes on sale in April. Special standard equipment touches? Black paintwork, obviously (& optional Basalt Black metallic option), 19-inch forged alloys, black brake calipers, black lettering, black leather, BOSE 13-speaker sound system, Sat Nav (presumably black), ParkAssist, cruise control, anti-dazzle mirrors and rain-sensitive wipers. Customers will also get a session at the Silverstone Porsche Experience Centre. Available with 345bhp flat-six engine and manual six-speed or PDK double-clutch, featuring "launch control." Expect 0-60mph in 4.9s (5.1s cabrio), or 4.7s (4.9s cabrio) with PDK, and 180mph V-max. Options include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), 20mm lower with LSD and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). Feeling black anyone?
