Caterham-Lola SP/300.R breaks cover
The gossip mill was right... Caterham have just launched its first sports prototype racer, with design input from fellow British sports car experts Lola and state-of-the-art Ford Power, at the Autosport International show. 0-60mph in 2.5s and a 170mph V-Max from the 300bhp supercharged Duratec engine, wrapped in a sub-600Kg downforce shell, means 500bhp-per-tonne and not for the faint hearted! Not cheap either, at £60,000. But special...? You decide. One thing is for sure... it'll wind Radical up no end!
