Audi R8 LMS to race at Bathurst

Check out these two badboy Audi R8 LMS racers – destined for Audi's first race since the start of the millenium at the legendary 6.213 Km, 23 corner, Bathurst circuit (which includes sections of closed off public roads). The epic Australian 12-hour endurance race takes place on February 6th. The cars, which bear the sporting genes of the victorious Le Mans Prototypes, will be run by Team Joest, and are aiming to add to their race tally of 64 wins and 163 podium finishes in 197 races to date. Can Audi start the 2011 season with a win? They certainly have the drivers, with Marc Bassend, mark Eddy, Craig Lowndes, Warren Duff, Christopher Mies and Darry O'Young.
