The Vespa is back!

Mods, Britpoppers, movie stars and cools kids take note: The ultimate two-wheel urban chic Italian icon is back after three decades out of production – the Vespa PX lives again! The 125cc PX will be on sale soon, priced at just £2,899, in Azzurro Mediterraneo Blue, Montebianco White, Ross Dragon Red and Nero Lucido Black. The two-stroke, single cylinder, CDi electronic ignition engine has been tuned to meet modern emission standards, but keeps its minimalist design that made it such a design icon. It will be available with a four-speed transmission (controls on the handlebar, a must" for enthusiasts) and electronic or kick-start, emphasizing its retro credentials. Also new are a re-designed saddle, ideal for two-up riding, new hand grips in black rubber, refined vent cover and grille and, naturally, Vespa logos galore. Cool eh?
