Toyota engine to power BTCC Dynojet Avensis
This year's Dynojet Avensis BTCC car will be powered by a modified 2.0-litre turbocharged version of the road-going Toyota. The engine is currently in development in Northamptonshire at engineering consultancy, X CTech R and is aiming to be one of the most powerful, lightest units in the Dunlop MSA BTCC, offering 300+bhp (road version is 140bhp). You will be able to see the car fly at the first round of BTCC at Brands Hatch, April 3rd. We at Road HQ are looking forward to that! Are you?
