West Coast Customs® Create New Zippo Promo Vehicle

West Coast Customs® have created an awesome new promotional vehicle for Zippo lighters. The American garage, famous for its work on MTV's 'Pimp My Ride,' launched the new heavily modified Jeep R at the 2011 Zippo 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series Race at Watkins Glen International. Zippo commissioned West Coast Customs® to "create a vehicle that represented the characteristics of such an iconic and historic brand; a vehicle that is classic, tough, rugged and above all trustworthy and dependable." The one-of-a-kind design will allow Zippo to use the Jeep as a mobile product showcase for the Zippo Outdoor collection, which includes the Zippo Hand Warmer, Flexible Neck Utility Lighter, Fire Starter Kit and many more innovative and practical tools. In order to continue the authentic Zippo look and feel, the vehicle was given the same hand-brushed appearance of an original brushed aluminium Zippo Windproof Lighter. Additional customisations include bumpers, side steps, off-road wheels and a bespoke interior, as well as an oversized Zippo lighter on the rear hatch.
