First Podium for Prodrive MINI WRC in Germany


















We knew it wouldn't take long, and now its already happened... Prodrive has secured its first podium placement with the MINI WRC – just months after its first ever rally, in only its third WRC event. Result! Dani Sordo took the new MINI to an incredible third place, behind the two flying French Sebastians, Ogier and Loeb in WRC Rally Deutschland this weekend. Ogier was 39.8s clear of Loeb, with Sordo 1:55.6 off the lead pace. The podium puts Sordo into 10th place in the championship, currently led by Loeb (192 points), Ogier (167 points) and Hirvonen (156 points). Massive congratulations to Dani and Prodrive for this fine achievement in such an short time. Great things will follow we are sure...
