Well, how epic was that? All-new Rally Turkey showing what a proper gravel rally is all about – rough, tough & tactical. Not just flat out on flat surfaces. And the toughest, smartest car & drivers from Team Toyota GAZOO Racing came through with a 1-2, after all the drama imaginable – tears & fires from Craig Breen, suspension bust-ups, fix-its & a very rare error from Sébastien Ogier & the glam Hyundai Motorsport top boys slipping from hero to zero – opening the championship right up in time for Dayinsure Wales Rally GB. And all with the added fun & games of who's driving where for 2019. Great to see Jari-Matti Latvala & Haydon Paddon get a result reflecting their undeniable talent too. Absolutely fantastic. Bring back Acropolis Rally of Greece & Safari Rally we say! Well done Ott Tänak – our pre-season prediction to lift the 2018 WRC crown too. Timing is everything...
