NEWS: Lydden Hill World RX Tickets Special Offer
How do you fancy witnessing a swarm of 600bhp RX supercars – capable of out-accelerating a Formula One car from 0-60mph – here in the UK, at the spiritual home of rallycross, Lydden Hill?
Well, this Spring you can and at great value too!
Tickets for the only UK round of the incredible World RX event on Spring Bank Holiday Weekend at the iconic Kent venue are now on sale – with "early bird" special offers of 2015 tickets at 2014 prices until the end of March.
So, for as little as £20 you can get to watch the world's best rallycross drivers like former FIA World Rally Champion Petter Solberg, Top Gear USA star and motor sport legend Tanner Foust, Norwegian young gun Andreas Bakkerud (who triumphed at Lydden last year) and two-time DTM Champion Mattias Ekström in their flame-spitting supercars, all going full chat on tarmac and gravel.
That's an absolute bargain – and especially as any accompanied children go free of charge.
The FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy at Lydden Hill event is 23-24 May and organisers say: "Widely regarded as the spiritual home of rallycross – motor sport’s fastest-growing discipline – Lydden Hill will host round four of the forthcoming world championship campaign, the World RX of Great Britain, over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
"Last year’s inaugural event proved to be phenomenally popular, with a record attendance pouring through the gates of the famous Kent venue. Notwithstanding that spectacular success and in a deliberate move to reward existing rallycross fans and attract new audiences, ticket prices for the 2015 edition have been frozen for those buying in advance before the end of March."
Early Bird tickets are now available priced at just £20 for Saturday and £25 for Sunday – representing a significant discount of more than 25 per cent. These prices will rise to £25 and £30 from the beginning of April, with any remaining general admittance tickets to be sold on the gate for £30 and £35 respectively.
Accompanied children aged 12 and under will be admitted free of charge, while VIP Hospitality and a limited number of Grandstand tickets are also available in advance. Hospitality tickets are priced at £80 for Early Bird bookers and £100 thereafter; Grandstand upgrades are offered at £10. Weekend camping tickets are available at £20 per pitch.
“It is a great honour to have World Championship motor sport back at Lydden Hill again in May, and we are delighted to confirm that ticket prices have been held at 2014 levels for those booking before the end of March,” said circuit owner Pat Doran.
“Last year was a fantastic, action-packed event and we will build on that in 2015, with lots of exciting additional attractions to be announced over the coming weeks.”
Those wishing to take full advantage of the special Early Bird offer should visit the official website for more information.
