NEWS: Silverstone Motorsport UK Update

The Road Magazine sponsored Silverstone MotorSport UK, the Motorsport show promoting all categories of national motorsport (3rd & 4th November 2012) has joined forces with RAVENOL high performance engine oils to create “The Spirit of MotorSport UK Awards” – a £10,000 prize fund for national motorsport competitors, one of the largest prizes in national motorsport! The 2012 “Sprit of MotorSport UK Awards” will be open to competitors in three categories – Karting, Racing and Rallying and will be awarded to three competitors, who will share a selection of prizes worth more than £10,000! The competition will be judged by a panel led by experienced racer and Road pal, Mark Hales, BRC series organiser Mark Taylor, Carolynn Hoy, organiser of Formula Kart Stars and Silverstone MotorSport UK organiser Martin Capenhurst, who said: "We are absolutely delighted to have teamed up with RAVENOL in offering club competitors of all forms of motorsport the chance to compete for a selection of prizes, which include three cash prizes, product sponsorship and promotional support, with the winner announced at Silverstone MotorSport UK in November – to enter visit www.motorsportshow.co.uk and register today!" Dave Mott, ex-co driver and Sales Director of RAVENOL’s UK distributor, German Oil commented: "We are delighted to be involved in this fantastic initiative.
