WRC 2012: Rally Sweden Rally Day 3 Highlights Part 2

The final section of the final day in Sweden sees real drama! Petter Solberg really unfortunately looses his solid third place to the flying Mads Ostberg, picking up a puncture on special stage 22, a Ford nightmare stage which also sees Jari-Matti Latvala's Fiesta RS WRC pick up a puncture losing 27 seconds as a result, giving Hirvonen a sniff of victory. It's all to play for in the top four, right to the wire...
Eventually, Ford's Jari-Matti Latvala gets the victory he so richly deserves by just 16.6s over Mikko Hirvonen's Citroen, with Mads Ostberg taking that third from Petter Solberg in forth, Ford youngster, Evgeny Novikov in fifth and Sebastian Loeb back in sixth, some 2:55.1 off the lead pace! Congratulations to Yari and to Ford, who picked up seven of the top 10 here in Sweden. Result!
