It's phenomenal stuff. The catchily titled TMG EV P001 has just blitzed a new EV lap record of 7:47.794 at the legendary 20.8km Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in Germany, with Jochen Krumbach at the wheel, seeing off the old 9:1.338 Peugeot EX1's record, by some distance. It makes compulsive viewing for any Nordschleife fan, as the downforce-heavy, massive torque EV car requires a very different technique.
