Electric Supercars at EcoVelocity Show

Think all electric cars are dull? Think again. The forthcoming EcoVelocity show (September 8-11th at Battersea Power Station, London) is aiming to prove that electric cars can be sexy, fast and furious. They will be showcasing a load of "stylish, fast and exciting" electric supercars as part of the green show in a dedicated green supercar paddock – including the Bluebird Electric, fresh from its British Electric Land Speed Record, the mass production Tesla Roadster (pictured), Delta Motorsport E-4 Coupe with its 200 mile range, superquick Evelio (0-62mph in 3.2s), the Nemesis ESC, a Westfield Sport E and the 700bhp Lightning GT. Giles Brown, EcoVelocity Event Director, said: “The addition of the green supercar paddock might well be a little bit unexpected for some visitors and will definitely grab a lot of attention, but that is the whole point, changing perceptions. We are here to educate people about eco friendly motoring which is evolving all the time.” EcoVelocity is being planned by IMIE, organisers of the British Motor Show and Metro newspaper. For further information please visit www.ecovelocity.co.uk.
